- Provide a woman- and child-centred approach that recognises the diverse needs and experieinces of service users
- Apply an evidence-based and outcome-focused approach to all elements of our work.
History
Sonas was set up in 1992. Our first housing complex opened in Killester in 1996. Sonas Housing Association grew out of the recognition by Women’s Aid of the need to support women who had left crisis accommodation and who had ongoing support needs.
Sonas now has 105 housing units in eight different areas of Dublin. It opened its first women’s refuge, Viva House, in June 2010.
